The demonstration set for asserting absence was created as part of my analog remote participation in an art demonstration in New York. I could only respond to Lisa Kirk’s call to participate in her Performa-Campaign „I AM...“ by simultaneously demonstrating at home. Since then, the equipment is used as required and generates different messages, depending on the user and the context.
