Skulptur für die Aufsicht | Sculpture for the Supervisory Staff
The sculpture, built of lined-up exhibition bunks is being newly designed for each exhibition. Each bunk will be equipped according to the color and seating desires of one exhibition guard who also chooses the artworks to be exhibited here. The supervisory staff has the express permission to do private work during working hours and also to optimise the sculpture according to their own needs. To protect themselves against distractions like conversation or disruptive noises, guards and exhibition visitors can provide themselves with earmuffs, and for mutual supervision they can use a hand-watcher or sit on a perch.
