Sleeping Artists

I invite the 14 members of the temporary artists' commune 'Institute for Social Research' (San Francisco) to produce a collaborative work with me: We all sleep in a circle, our heads as close together as possible, under a large blanket zipped together from our sleeping bags.
One moment of this collaboration is captured photographically, and one hour at dawn is recorded with a fixed camera and shown unedited.
