Sleeping Artists

The 14 members of the temporary artists' commune “Institute for Social Research” (San Francisco) sleep in a circle under a shared blanket of zipped-together sleeping bags, their heads as close together as possible. Over the course of this single night, they create three collaborative works: a performance, a film, and a photograph.
