"Dance to Happiness" shows the recording of a theatre audience. They see a play which was written for the leisure theatre group of an international corporation. It is only shown at the German company locations and tells of the world economic crisis in the 1930s. The viewers are company employees, their families and friends and the official representatives* of the company and local politicians. The fact that they see the show at the beginning of a new world economic crisis is purely coincidental.
